Crimea 2007. Alushta

I had visited Alushta a couple of times before and I liked it. This town is located between the mountains, like many towns and villages on the South Crimean shore. Population of Alushta is rather high so I had a good chance of finding models here and the countryside is very close by so I have easily accessible locations for my shoots.

As soon as I rented an apartment, I went to the beach to search for models. In a day or two I met a very interesting girl - Pamela. When I approached her for the first time, I thought she was not older than 23-25… but as I discovered later Pamela was 32 years old. I was really surprised because she looks much younger than her true age. Pamela has very slim body and thin, graceful features. We spent a lot of time walking and talking… At first, Pamela agreed to pose then she changed her mind and was very uncertain in her intentions… but finally she agreed again and really enjoyed our shoot.

A few days later, I called Ksusha and she came to our shoot with her friend Vika. Ksusha is a very energetic person and has a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. Vika is the opposite to Ksusha - very soft and gentle... even shy. She has perfectly shaped breasts which any hollywood starlet would be jealous of. We traveled to the vineyards, outside Alushta, where I shot both Ksusha and Vika.

For the next few days, my search for new models proved unsuccessful. But, as fate would have it, when I had decided to leave Alushta, I met Tati. Tati lives and works in Crimea. She is a very sociable person. I first saw her from behind. She walked like a goddess. Then, when I came around her and saw her extremely cute face with a scatter of freckles on it, I just had to introduce myself. First Tati took my words with distrust, but while I was talking and showing her my photos she changed her attitude.

After Tati's shoot, I head to Yalta where I could shoot another Crimean model Olja.

Crimea 2007. Simferopol

In June of 2007 I took a trip to Crimea, Ukraine. Crimea is famous for it's amazing natural splendor: montains and sea, rocks and sand, beautiful flowers and evergreen trees. The Ukraine is also famous for beautiful ladies.

Everything an erotic photographer needs! So I packed my bags and went there.

For my first time traveling to Ukraine, I decided to stay in the capital of Crimea - Simferopol. I was planning to walk through the streets of the city to find girls who could be interested in posing for me. I was also planning to meet up with a few girls I knew from internet communication - Oxana and Ksusha.

During my first day in Simferopol, I spent all day learning the city. I discovered that the best place to find models is the center of the city. And for the rest of my days there, I hung out in this area.

On the first day I also met Oxana and we arranged a shoot the next day. We decided to go to the colorful, flowery fields. The wind was mischievous that day, it constantly played with Oxana's hair and messed it about. Despite such difficult shooting conditions, Oxana persevered and modeled like a true professional.

A few days later, I met Ksusha. She even brought another model with her - Vika and I decided to shoot them later. I was talking with many girls during my stay in Simferopol.

Some were interested, some not. But one girl was really interested, her name is Val. She is studying to become a painter. When I saw a girl with such a cute face I decided to ask her to model for me immediately. Val had a piercing under her lower lip and looked like a true artist - decent and down-to-earth. For our second meeting Val even brought a friend - Oksi. We arranged a shoot for the next day.

We went to the mountains, between Simferopol and the sea, in the region of the famous Crimea caves. It was a really hot day.

At first I shot the girls in open spaces withthe mountains as abackdrop.But when the heat become too uncomfortable,we went searching for a cool, shady location.

We soon found just that: a place near a mountain creek. I shot Oksi and Val there. Then we went further and saw a horse and a young mare grazing in a field. I shot Val there. The young mare was constantly trying to eat our things ;)

On the next day, I head toward the sea. The first town I stopped at was Alushta - the center of South Crimean shore.

Nata's story

Many of you must already be familiar with Nata - a pretty, graceful, long haired girl. But none of you know that the person who discovered that beautiful model and made her first shoot was me. Here is the story of our acquaintance.

In August of 2006, I went to Saint-Petersburg, to search for new models. I was going to stay there for 10 days and walk along the streets as I knew that many beautiful girls live in the city of Peter I, the Russian Tzar who founded the city and gave it his name.

On the second day, I was walking along Nevsky prospekt - the central street of Saint-Petersburg, and suddenly I saw a smiling girl running by me. I walked up to her and asked if she would like to pose for me. She immediately got interested. I told her details of my proposal. The girl was Nata as you can guess. We made arrangements to meet to discuss the details and to look through samples of my photos as well as I did not have them with me at the time. We got each others phone numbers and said our goodbyes.

I was charmed with Nata's amazing smile. It was so natural and so attractive I could not resist and smiled like an idiot in answer.

On the day we had decided to meet, I called Nata and found out that she couldn't come because her mother, who she lives with, took all the keys from home and left Nata locked in her apartment. To be honest, I thought that Nata had changed her mind about posing and was just making excuses not to come, as sometimes girls do, but we made arrangements for a meeting another day and she came, so my doubts disappeared.

I should say few words about what Nata looked like when she came for our meeting. She was dressed with a T-shirt, sport jacket and jeans with a low hip line… she put her hands in her jeans pockets and her jeans were pulled down so I could easily see her unshaven pubic hair. One thing came to mind - she's gonna be a great model. I wasn't mistaken, as I discovered later.

So I showed Nata my photos and she liked them. We arranged a shoot in the Gulf of Finland near Saint-Petersburg. On the shooting day, we met and went to the shoot location. The weather was perfect and our mood was great too.When Nata started posing, I was really surprised with the way she posed. It seemed that she had experience in posing. I even asked her about that but she told me that she poses (for me) for the first time and I came to conclusion that Nata has a very rare gift of artistry that is so necessary for all good models. I got the proof to that when I returned, a few months later, to Sant-Petersburg and shot Nata again. Her mastery of posing had greatly grown since our first shoot.

I arranged with Nata for one more shoot the next day and we said goodbye to each other. When she had left, I had a feeling that I was missing something important, as if she were my girlfriend. But I stayed calm and showed no sign of it when we met the next day. I realized that I had fallen in love with her when I left Saint-Petersburg. I should note that I fall in love with all my models, at least for the period of the shoot. That gives me a better feeling of the girl and I can discover her much better than if I was just shooting her according to job description. But what I felt with Nata was much more than that and lasted much longer than our shoot. I don't know if I succeeded in injecting these feelings into my shots...

Countryside with Nusia

In the middle of summer 2006, I invited Nusia for a two day shoot in the countryside. We rented a wooden house in a small village. It was a very quiet place. You could walk there all the day and not meet anyone. In addition, it is very beautiful: fields, woods, lakes, sand, and grass… almost all the forms of nature can be found there.

On the first day, we went to the pine woods and had a shoot. Then, we walked on the railway to a field. Near the field, we found an unfinished construction site made of the white bricks. We made a shoot there too. Our next plan was to find a deserted log house... and we found it.

On the next day, my plan was to shoot in morning fog, so we got up at 5:30 and saw the heavy fog around our house. But while we got some tea (10 minute, not more), the fog started to disappear very quickly so we could shoot only a very short time in it.

After fog hunting, we went to a lake that grew from an open mine and made a shoot there. We saw 1 or 2 people during our journey and for our last shoot on the sand bank, I even got naked and sunbathed during the shoot.

Nusia liked our trip a lot. So did I. In the future I will return there with another model or maybe two or more models.

My first trip to Crimea, Ukraine

The first time I traveled to Crimea was in summer of 2005. I had reserved a room in a hotel in Alushta called "Junost". Alushta is the center on the South Crimean shore. So I didn't worry about food and bed and I could completely concentrate on searching for models.

I was learning the town, walking through it, from one end to the other, thanks to it's small size. I walked along the shore, asking girls to pose for me. Some of them were interested in posing but they did not want to pose nude. I took photos of some of these girls right where I met them. I also met in my hotel two guys from Donetzk - a city in the east of Ukraine. They came to Crimea for a vacation, like I did. So when I wasn't searching for girls, we spent time together sunbathing and playing sports.

In Alushta, like in many other towns on the shore, you will find many artists who can paint your portrait with pastel or coal, in a couple of hours, on the street. I was watching the work of many painters. Some were good, some not so good, but a couple of young girl's portraits touched my soul and I decided to make their author's acquaintance. The painter was a middle-aged woman. Her name was Zinaida. We become close very quickly and I visited her almost every day as I was walking by.

In a few days I succeed in my model search. I met a girl named Valya. She was from Simferopol and worked in one of Alushta's cafes during her summer vacation to earn some money. She agreed to pose for me and we arranged a shoot. That very evening, I shot her. She appeared as a very pretty girl with soft, smooth skin and graceful lines. Later, I even invited her to a shoot in my city and the following spring, I returned to Crimea to shoot her one more time.

I should tell you about one more girl who posed for me that summer in Alushta. I do not even remember her name. I was sitting on a bench, searching with my eyes for pretty girls, and suddenly saw a blond girl with a huge rucksack, dressed in short black shorts, a black T-shirt and gym-shoes. Her skin was red from sunbathing. I approached her immediately. We started talking. She told me that she was passing through Alushta just for the one day. I proposed to show her a view of Alushta from the mountain and she agreed. I told her that I was an erotic photographer and asked her to pose for me. She said that she didn't have enough time for a proper shoot, but she was interested to pose. She took off her clothes and I took some shots. Then I took her to a bus and we said goodbye to each other. I never saw her again.

I had spent just 10 days in Alushta but I was very sad when I needed to return home and I decided to get back there once more at the very least.
